In Adrian’s imagined world, a half-finished prototype occupies the most expensive table in the room. His suit is immaculate. The object he is trying to fix is not. He likes beautiful things, but he is happiest when something finally works.
What success is supposed to buy
Independence is his great attraction: the freedom to pursue an idea, make his own mistakes, and choose the scale of his life. He admires the small operation that supports its owner as much as the ambitious invention that changes an industry. He simply reserves the right to dress extravagantly for both.
The person behind the confidence
Adrian can mistake his own opportunities for everybody else’s. Competition energizes him, but it also feeds his need to prove that he matters. He is learning to recognize the difference between building a useful business and asking success to carry the whole weight of a life.
